The CAA have published Information Notice IN-2017/012. Although this was issued in April, it will only apply until the end of September 2017 and will not be re-issued. Pilots who need to make use of the IN’s terms are strongly recommended to complete their training as soon as possible, then apply to the CAA for the ‘temporary exemption’ and have received it prior to taking the Skill Test by the end of Sep 2017.
